Carolyn Eskdale
Carolyn Eskdale was born in Bendigo, Victoria in 1963. Her studies include a Graduate Diploma from the Victorian College of Arts in 1989 and recently a Master of Fine art from RMIT University. Eskdale was a co-founder and coordinator of the Temple Studio gallery in 1991 where she has held seven solo exhibitions of her work. She has been included in a number of high profile exhibition that include Women and Surrealism at Heidi, The Moet Chandon Exhibition in 1997 & 1999 and All This and Heaven Too at the Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, 1998. Her works have been represented in a number of international exhibitions including Claustrophobia, at Icon Gallery, Birmingham & UK tour (including Denmark), and Rapport at the Singapore Art Museum in 1996. In 1994 she was awarded the Power Studio Residency at the Cite International des Arts, Paris.
