Jock Clutterbuck
Jock Clutterbuck was born in Edenhope in regional Victoria in 1945 and studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, where he subsequently taught from 1969-73, before becoming a lecturer in Sculpture at the Victorian College of Arts from 1974 to 2000. Clutterbuck has held 32 solo exhibitions since 1966 in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Cologne, Germany. He was a participant in the exhibition Form in Action, a survey of Australian sculpture which toured New Zealand in 1968. Internationally his work has been exhibited in all the major print biennales including Cairo 1994, Cracow 1991 & 72, Yugoslavia 1981,79 & 75 Tokyo 1974 and Florence 1972. In 2000 Clutterbuck produced Listening To The Stars, a book of prints, in association with Lyrebird press. His work is represented in all major Australian state collections and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York
